We are all on different paths leading to the same destination. Whether we realize it or not, each of us desires that interwoven connection. Deep down we know we are part of something ineffable, but in our course of seeking, we miss what is all around us. We get lost in the details.

We must find our own footing before trying to merge with another. Too often do we expect one person to fulfill so much when each contact, whether fleeting or lasting, romantic or platonic, has so much to teach us. It is not that we lack enriching surroundings, we stop nourishing ourselves along the way. No wonder so many relationships wilt and crack with time. We must be rooted from within, if we wish to endure in each other. You are your own well, earth, and sun. Take care to nurture yourself as you deserve, blossom for the moment, shine for no one else. Until then, seeking will overshadow being.

We all should show tolerance and love. In the end, we all are (might, why not?) slightly different versions of one beautiful thing. And, we all should show compassion and understanding to one other. The purple Tumblr background tells us something that we all should listen. You cannot just love the ones who are “like” you, it is hypocritical and egocentric. How dare we judge others about their sexual orientation?! Seriously!!!! Who are we to tell gay people that they are evil? This lack of tolerance in this century is just too much/too stupid/too primitive. Get over yourselves people! Instead of bragging about how 100% hetero you are, proud of how 100% human you can be. And, if you really need to hate something or someone hate your incapable hetero/religious/barbaric selves.

Really, all we need is love :)
